“Shreks with **** suckin’ lips.” Doggie Highlights – Youtuber Ramboraph4life

“I RATHER DRINK PICKLE D*** SOUP!” Eh, I don’t think he says that.

Comedy, passion, simple, understandable, all in one guy and what he stands for.

Been a subscriber/follower for this guy Ramboraph4life for a while, and there is something soothing about his movie reviews, even when he’s gosh darn upset about them. You can tell that he’s knowledgeable on a stack of movies that continues to grow, and fans contribute to him. I’m kind of enviable. He’s a big action film and horror movie fan. I also like that he reviews the classics; doesn’t look like that anything, no matter the quality, is beyond him.

If you have a favorite movie, and you like it and he doesn’t, he’ll always say “it’s your opinion” and explains himself. The good thing about his reviews are the comparisons that he remakes in directors and actors from other products. He also does video editing and game playthroughs.

Ram’s name is due to his love for the RAMBO series (and the Stallone-a-saurus REX) and Raphael from Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. So for the love of pete, someone make a good TMNT movie.

#WHAT THE FLUFF AMERICA! Charlottesville Riots leaves one dead. what is the Confederate symbol?

Long time no see.

Well, I lost my written lists for the 8 Great Rivals and 7 shows that made me cry topics, so these are on hold until I can write them back up.

Next time, I will have to use one of these:

IMG_20461.jpg

This week I have to wonder what year I’m in? it seems to be the 1940s, 50s or 60s because we have a White Nationalist Movement and we have threats of nuclear war.

CNN: Charlottesville, Virginia (CNN)One person was killed and 19 were hurt when a speeding car slammed into a throng of counterprotesters in….

ABC: Charlottesville murder suspect’s teacher: ‘He thought Nazis were pretty cool guys’

The Statue at the Center of Charlottesville’s Storm

Three’s a charm. The Rule of three.

Why do people support the Confederacy? Or even want to? For it it such an anachronistic symbol of division in the United States. What is wrong in the modern era? And what do we possibly want from the past? When we are progressing into an era of technology, expansive learning and curiosity, diversity, etc.

It’s funny because no where in Michigan is the Union flag displayed except in the museums. Why? Because it was replaced by the fifty star American flag, along with the state. You can see flags from other countries mounted on hotels and law firms. This international display displays on what the structure stands for. And I should add: The flags in their current form. What purpose would the Union flag have?

Giant American flag displayed on the Mackinac Bridge for Independence Day

Instead of thinking over it, I rather just show videos to display the thoughts of others. It is indeed obvious that what happened in Charlottesville is disgusting, and I rather not just say “it’s disgusting” and leave it alone at that. What I really like to do is offer different sides and what show what they look like, despite how appalling they may be.

In all honesty, this cannot and will not go away. There are rooted values that someone is above the weak; the bad examples of one or few can lead to the believe that genocide or some form of destruction is a solution. I seem to recall everyone getting upset with the idea of banning Confederacy flags (Looks cool TBH).

CGI #saintseiya is coming to Netflix! Doggie Sketch a Day

Saint Seiya, AKA: Knights of the Zodiac, is coming to Netflix as a new CGI series.

So, why not have a sketch a day to commemorate?

This was done today but not sure how long. Could’ve been around five minutes. Okay, so the hands/fingers are getting a bit better.

Making Mistakes and Sketch a Day| Doggie Stories – Why do I like drawing 2?

PREVIOUS ARTICLE: the answer is in the line

So, last Wednesday, I was just sketching and seeing how much I could do.

I am well reminded that the time and patience is necessary to provide a good work. Also, I am guilty for now. However, immense detail wasn’t the goal as it was quick sketches and the use of mostly a mechanical pencil. I was a little surprised at the differences that each drawing attempt made. Or rather, I was surprised at the occasional improvements. I would say, “That looked better than before”.

A funny question: Putting #fanfiction in your resume (Revision)

Here is a small revision of my now deleted post. I was rushing out the door when I posted the previous one and I’m sorry. I’m sure there was more that I wanted to add, and I should’ve checked it better.

Ow9qE_s-200x150.gif

I found this funny question lying somewhere on the net, and I forgot where. It quickly met with an answer of rejection. But instead of saying “No” and leaving it at that, I thought about it a bit more diligently.

First, I probably understand the point of asking the question. You want to provide writing samples such as for magazine or newspaper articles so you can look like an author; news media, including the spread of misinformation, imbue the online and social media.

Second, you were passionate about the work you created despite any kind of quality. Some need work, some put their hair and heart into it for sure, some think they are arrogantly or truthfully, creative. You have something to show.

Third, there is the protection of one’s product or property. Whether you like it or not, the practice of fanfiction is disagreeable here and there. It is thanks to advocates of freedom of expression and of parody being a legal medium of entertainment that fanworks are given positive critique. Some published authors have written fanfiction as well.

So what is the answer?

I’d go with “no”. I also thought of why the question was given a “no” from where I found it; the word “no” can also mean that there should be alternatives.

Here is the negative part: I took consideration in the influence of the website that you place your work in.

Fanfiction, especially Fanfiction.net, which is considered the core site for where the works are found, can be a literature cesspool. I myself have ambivalent views. If you put in a link such as “https://www.fanfiction.net/~TelsaDagger” (not real by the way) in your resume or cover level, it might look pretty strange. However, people see themselves as authors and you, once in a while, can find a good product.

I also thought that this may be the most important reason: You’re not aspiring to become a published author or land your article in a reading medium by springing off the back of another unless you’re doing news or some other kind of non-fiction.

If you look at the guidelines of manuscript submissions, even for books or comics, you realize that your creativity matters. The base that you will provide matters. That is the usual case — your aspect that you must make exist. Also, when you do work on getting a writer’s job or do publishing, you have to offer reasons as to why you’re qualified and why should your writing be approved? Will your writing aim be a success? Think of the readers.

Do not think Inuyasha. Not Olympus. Not The Hunger Games. Not Rick and Morty. Not Big Bang Theory. Not Game of Thrones.

When it comes to fanfiction and one’s life, you need to know are you legally able to write (or translate) derivative work? Are you given the permission? Does the publisher, the person (or people/company) who concocted the work gave you the permission? Do you shoot to become a writer for DC Comics or Disney for example?

In any case, it’s not like the work you made can’t be inspired into something else. Also, as fanfiction is writing, you’ll have the mentality of an author.

From ‘Fifty Shades’ to ‘After’: Why publishers want fan fiction to go mainstream (WASHINGTON POST)

Check out Attack on Titan Anthology, an reinterpretation of Isayama Hajime’s original work. Various artists provided their own spin and style on AoT.

As you can see, Attack of Titan was an international success, whether you agree or not, and it makes sense to do this anthology.

I hope this is fair.

I even thought of saying “How about posting fanfics elsewhere?” For example, what if I posted my fanfics on this blog? But ultimately, I still thought the word “No”.

Another Sketch a Day?! #BATIM #ThunderForce

Late at night, I just did this. Do you know Bendy and the Ink Machine?

BEDNDy.jpg

gospenv1.jpg

Also did this tonight.

This one is just an original character that I thought of for the Thunder Force game series (maybe a short story). I am going to talk about THUNDER FUTURE one day. Even if it’s just a M-pencil, I thought it was a bit refined. It was also a good reminder that proportions still pose a huge problem, despite taking it slowly. I even flipped it to one side and upside down to figure it out. This will take a lot of work after all.

He looks a bit of a greenhorn, which is good. He is young, but I also wanted him to have a bit of an impulsive face since he hates the Thunder Force’s main antagonist The ORN EMPIRE.

Doggie Sketch a Day – From various days

A sketchbook is a sketchbook; I’m still stuck in the initial idea stage. I can’t point to which days I’ve did these and how long they took.
