A continuation from entry about Gakuto. Somehow, I wanted to a visual representation of two friends. It first started as a test of height and two-point perspective, and it turned into some horrid attempt of a storyboard
I showed it to niece, and she’s pretty darn smart. In fact, after briefly glancing at settei (設定) of Naruto, I’m glad that it’s pretty expressive. She could tell that Naruto was pretty “mad”, and then “really really mad”.
It looks like I can’t draw a rock. Basically, here’s what happens:
- 1 – Naruto is upset at the fact that he’s in a team with Sasuke (most annoying dude)
- 2 & 3 – A rock hits his head.
kinda big…supposed to be a pebble
- 4 – “DA PHUK MAN!”
- 5 – Who?
- 6 – ? !
- 7 – Sees someone…
- 8 “Gakkun!” “Hi.”
Today’s lesson: Storyboards are useful, despite how bad they are. A piece of imagination can’t be fragmented.
